The Conference
Objective is to raise the activity of libraries, library
associations and other organisations for effective cooperation
in developing of use of the internet and electronic
information resources in science, education, culture and
business. The Overall Aims of conference
are:

To promote effective
exchange of experience on the problems of development of
electronic information resources, creation of library
systems and use of the internet in
libraries;

To assist
in the creation of consortiums; to organise and exploit
training centres for teaching new information
technologies for libraries; and
|
|
To promote
the wider use of the internet and electronic data bases.

The languages of the conference are
