The International Federation of Film
Archives, an organisation of the world's leading institutions
in the field of moving picture heritage, is dedicated to the
rescue, collection, preservation and screening of moving
images, which are valued as both works of art and culture and
as historical documents. As its database project, FIAF
International FilmArchive is a complete source of
international film scholarship from 1972 onward, consisting of
four databases: International Index to Film/TV Periodicals,
Treasures From the Film Archives, Bibliography of FIAF Member
Publications, and International Directory of Film/TV
Documentation Collections.
