If the success
of a conference is measured by attendance, Online Information
& Education Conference 2001, hit the mark. More
than 400 librarians and information industry people gathered
in Bangkok, Thailand, 25-27 June, for four days of workshops
and presentations. The Conference, sponsored by the Rajabhat
Institute Suan Dusit, Chulalongkorn University Center of
Academic Resources, Booknet and Book Promotion & Service,
was held at the Rajabhat Institute in
the historic Suan Dusit area of Bangkok.
